Over
the past 30 years, Sideros Engineering has been
specialized in the manufacturing of systems
for the filtration of fumes and dust generated
by thermal cutting procedures (laser, plasma
and oxycutting), welding, grinding and smoothing.
The filters of the ECO series belong
to the category of absolute filters, because they guarantee a post-filtration level
of dust emissions lower than 2mg/m3,
even in the presence of fine and extremely toxic
particles.
Eco Filters guarantee the following
results:
high filtration efficiency
a better cleaning of the cartridges
a reduction of the loading losses
a constant level of air suction
in time
a longer duration of the cartridges
guaranteed emissions into the environment
The perfectly filtered air can be released
directly into the workplace (in compliance with
the local directives) or it may be conveyed
into an exhaust chimney.
The standard filters of the ECO series can
be installed with excellent results on several
machines, with particular reference to the following
applications:
plasma, laser and oxycutting
welding and grinding
sandblasting, gritting and smoothing
metallizing and removal of crackings
Sideros
Engineering product range includes the following
equipment:
Standard filters: cartridge
units for thermal cutting machines.
Reinforced filters: reinforced
model for cutting and welding applications
presenting a risk of explosion.
Movable filters: this model
is provided with an arm and is suitable for
manual welding and plasma cutting or grinding.
At
the customer’s request, the ECO
filters can be supplied with the following
components:
FLEXIBLE
EXTRACTOR, FAST CLEAN model: an
innovative exhaust and transportation
system for the collected particles, replacing
the traditional collection tank.
ACTIVATED
CARBON POST-FILTER: indispensable
for the elimination of oxides and odours
from the filtrated air emitted by the
filter.
HOPPER
AND EXHAUST SYSTEMS: if the customer
has no possibility to install the extractor
FAST CLEAN model, but wishes to replace
the traditional collection tanks with
higher capacity containers (metal tanks
or big-bags).
The filters are painted with the RAL
colour required by the customer, without any
additional costs.
