In order to respond to the most different needs of our clients, we offer various sizes in the standard range (1250x2500 mm, 1500x3000 mm, 2000x4000 mm) or a special size range (1500x4000 mm and 2000x6000 mm).
The standard capacity is 3000 kg for each drawer, but at the client’s request we can supply storage systems with a 5000 kg capacity.
The SPAZIOMATIC automatic storage systems for sheet metal plates are manufactured with robust, purposely-sized steel profiles; the main towers enable the elevator to slide up and down, along the height of the structure. Moreover, sliding guides are fixed between one tower and another, for the extraction and insertion of the drawers containing the sheet metal plates to be handled.
A sturdy elevator moves the drawers containing sheet metal plates upwards and downwards.
The automatic storage systems are equipped with mechanical protections (barriers and protection mats) and electronic protections (multi-ray photocells).
Single tower storage systems are provided with a ground support permitting to load the pack of sheet metal plates deposited by the handling means at the inlet of the storage system and to unload the pack picked up by the elevator.
In a similar way, the double tower storage systems are provided with a shuttle which functions as a means of transport of the sheet metal plates into and out of the storage system and viceversa.
The shuttle is driven by a gear motor of adequate power which drives the two driving wheels.
The shuttle is pre-arranged for receiving both the sheet metal plates pack and the pallet.
The Spaziomatic storage systems are controlled by a centrally located, user-friendly switchboard, provided with a touch screen which permits to the machine to carry out all the necessary operations.
At the client’s request, it is possible to connect the switchboard to an external computer, in order to guarantee the automatic loading and unloading of the metal plates (supervisor software).
The presence of the supervisor ensures the following benefits:
- the possibility to keep under control the item records, the minimum stores, the economical allotments, the warning records of the machine, the stock on hand for each container and the total stock on hand;
- the possibility of different access levels to the warehouse, thanks to a special password system;
the management of the items following the LIFO or FIFO method, according to the system chosen by the company.
At the client’s request, a weighing system is available, in order to calculate (thanks to the supervisor) the quantity of sheet metal present in every container or in the whole storage system.
