Vacumatic is a practical vacuum mechanism for the lifting in mid-air of sheet metal and other flat, smooth and not porous plates.
Vacumatic needs no external power supply, being provided with a lead battery which permits the use of the vacuum crossbar for 10-12 consecutive hours. Vacumatic can be applied to any lifting device, even those not previously equipped, without requiring any modifications.
The system consists of the following components: a central body, a membrane pump, a pneumatic distribution tank, a double vacuous state and a lead battery.
The Vacumatic range includes the following two models:
- Vacumatic 530: five holding suckers, for sheet metal plates measuring 1,5 x 3 m, maximum thickness 15 mm, maximum capacity 530 Kg;
- Vacumatic 1000: six catching suckers Ø 300 mm, for sheet metal plates measuring 4 x 2 m, maximum thickness 15 mm, maximum capacity 1000 Kg.
Vacumatic is designed in compliance with the European laws in force (98/37/EEC) and is provided with the EC trademark.
